Jeanine immigrated from South Africa to New Zealand in 2005, she has an extensive background in the hospitality industry and has worked in management positions in various hotels both in South Africa and New Zealand.

Jeanine started her hairdressing career in 2010 and that is when she discovered her passion for hairdressing. After thirteen years in the hairdressing industry, Jeanine discovered her true passion and calling for curly hair, and in 2023 she undertook a Curly Hair Masterclass. Her journey into specialising in curls not only stems from personal experience but also from a desire to help others embrace their individuality.

With curly hair of her own, Jeanine intimately understands the challenges that come with maintaining and caring for these unique locks, and recognizes that, just as every person is unique, so too are their curls, each requiring special attention and expert care. Her commitment to understanding and nurturing curly hair sets her apart, allowing her to create tailored solutions that empower her clients to love their natural textures. Through her work, she aims to foster a deep appreciation for curls while promoting confidence in every beautiful, bouncy strand.
